Pratikshya & Eric are stellar in terms of customer service. I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food is here normally in these kind of environments tourist places in other words the food is generally so so I can highly recommend the Panini's and the iced coffees from my personal experience. And the bonus is, you have an awesome view of Rocky and Estes'

This cafe is well rounded with the most pleasant customer service and the freshest food. My family and I stopped by after our hike and were met with the best latte we have ever drank. It was so good we tried to savor it as much as possible. The owner made sure everything we got everything we needed and that is was up to our standards. Next time we hike this trail we will be coming back!

Such a calm and cozy cafe with really tasty food. What makes this café stand out is the manager. Eric is so polite, respectful, and always ready to help with a smile. Every food is worth trying. But the chocolate cookies are my absolute favorite—definitely a must try! 10/10.”

The Hungry Chipmunk Cafe is just around the corner after you disembark from the Estes Aerial Tramway at the top. Taking the Tram is the only way to get there. The Cafe has a small gift shop and a few tables with magnificent views out the windows with panoramic mountains and the town of Estes Park down in the valley. They apparently have a breakfast menu of items in the morning which changes to lunch items at noon. I tried a smoothie after a hike to the west summit and it was large, good and refreshing. Among other things you can buy peanuts here to feed the chipmunks that are abundant all over the mountain. They will come right up to you and eat out of your hand. The Hungry Chipmunk Cafe is definitely worth a quick stop as you enjoy the incredible views delivered by the tram ride.

We had breakfast here and the food was delicious - we had the bigfoot bacon sandwich on a croissant, a blueberry scone, and chocolate chip cookies. The menu had good variety and they also have seasonal drinks which is so fun! The staff here is incredibly kind and the atmosphere is wonderful. We had our food outside on a bench overlooking Estes and spent some time inside on the comfy couches they provide in the eating area. I definitely recommend planning on stopping in for a meal and drinks if you're up here

I tried the Big Foot’s Bacon and it was one of the tastiest paninis I’ve ever eaten! Love the view of the mountains from inside (especially when it started hailing!) and the servers + cashiers were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

I was worried about finding something for the kids, the cheese panini satisfied all my children. The size portions were perfect, more than what we expected. They didn’t have a quinoa salad after ordering but came out immediately and offered some other options which were also fantastic. The food was fresh and felt clean. We also ordered a caprese amor salad and it was delicious and fresh. My sandwich was a gem lake and it was so good, I didn’t think I would be able to eat both slices, however my children were happy to help. The atmosphere was very family friendly. I only changed the rating slightly on that because the music was a little loud, however, I know others who prefer that volume, and they give you the option to eat elsewhere. Be prepared to spend a little more, but the quality is worth it.
